The Big 1!

Ely will be 1 on Saturday, but since I won't be at a computer for a while, I thought I would post it now.
At 1 years old, Ely, you are:
-Walking 90% of the time, and you can bend over to pick something up.
-Really good at giving mama and daddy (and grammy, and friends at daycare, and stuffed animals) big, sloppy, open-mouthed kisses.
-Saying "dada", "mama", "hi", "uh-oh", "juice" (doooo!), "kitty" (which sounds like gee-gee-gee) and "squirrel" (which sounds like "guo" - we have lots of squirrels at our feeders and he likes to watch them!).
-Eating all sorts of "big people" foods, your favorites being greek yogurt, string cheese, dry cereal, chicken casserole/stew, pot roast, oatmeal, and toast with just a little PB.
-Drinking from a sippy cup very well.
-Waving and saying "hi" and clapping your hands.
-Only wanting 1 bottle - right before your bath at night.
-Playing with your favorite toys - the Fisher Price Incrediblock, John Deere ride-on ATV, and your chipmunk and owl stuffed animals.
-Obsessed with remotes and often point them at the TV (there's alot of "TV time at day care :(.
-A very rough little boy and love violent games and when daddy pretends he's a rabid dog.
-Sleeping through the night very well in your crib and always have (since 7 weeks!).
-Learning the meanings of new words everyday.
-Recognizing and pointing to a few body parts - teeth, belly, foot.
-Understanding and following many commands without gestures - "No-no", "Give that to mama", "Go find your blocks/cup/ball/car", "Walk to dada".
-The joy of mama and daddy's life!
